visited by one of your village agents. I have been severely disabled for 30
years and last year received notification of two personal pensions from a
previous employer. My pension provider indicated that they had been instructed
to deduct income tax using punitive tax codes that were outdated. I tried on
many occasions to contact the Inland Revenue without success. Luckily I picked
up a leaflet in my local library advertising the Village Agents Service. I was
referred to my local agent who visited me within days and took up my case. He
initially experienced the same frustrations as I did but by having the
determination to resolve my problems he has now achieved a successful outcome.
